About Redshift Photography

I use photography as a way to make sense of the way I view the world.  To pick out the interesting details that make a place and a time stand out, be memorable.  To freeze moments, and allow them to be taken in at one's own pace, and to constantly discover something new.

My choice of subject comes from what I enjoy, what I'm excited by, and what I hope to share with others – the thrill of speed, the glory of flight, the beauty in what we see around us every day.  But more deeply, I want to bring a sense of classical composition and a fine art sensibility to non-traditional subjects.  To give the viewer an understanding of why things like fast cars and fast jets provoke so much passion.

Redshift Photography is based out of Forest Hill, Maryland, and has been learning and creating memorable images for more than fifteen years.
